Water Remains In Tub At The End Of Operation.

During operation, the machine does pump water through the drain hose (I saw the water flowing when the drain hose was disconnected from the water Tee underneath the sink), but there is water (1 inch or deeper) remaining in the tub at the end of operation. What could be the reason? Thanks. Zongfu
