How Do I Get My Money Back For One Night Hotel And 2 Taxi Rides

On 20 Sep my flight was delayed in Abbotsfors BC and I had to spend the night in Toronto. West Jet had booked me a room at the Day Hotel. I was told to go to C22 and wait for a shuttle which never came. I took a taxi to get to the hotel and on arrival I was told that they did not have my name and that there was no room for me. I returned with the taxi to the Airport and finally around 1:30 am the rep found me a room at the Comfort Inn. I had to pay with my credit card and was told that there would be a refund on my account. When I got my bill from M/C, there was a charge of $141.19 but no credit. I phone West Jet and gave my story and I was told to fax a copy of the hotel bill and the receipts from the taxi driver. Today I received an other bill from M/C and there was no credit for the hotel bill. I phone West Jet again and was that they had set up a credit in an account for my next flight. This is not acceptable I am 76 years old and I may not be able to take another trip. I also need my money back even if it is just to compensate for all the stress I had that night and loosing a complete day of my vacation because the next flight to Quebec City was at 06:30PM.
