My Hard Drive # Wd300bb-32aua1 Not Working Device Manager Gives Ok

Dear Sir, My hard drive # WD300BB-32AUA1 is not working although the Device Manager shows it and says that it is working properly. Under Volume I get following readings: Disk: Disk 1, Type: Unknown, Status: Unreadable; Partition Style: Not Applicable, Capacity: 0, Allocated Space: 0, Reserved Space: 0 Please advise me about the status of my Hard Drive. Regards Masud

i had the same problem with my Western Digital Drive.

You should format and repartition it

to format you go to control panel

Click on administrative tools

click disk management

and right click on the drive and format.

Should take a little while to do but that always fixed my HDD's
