Idle Sound ?
My new 14" Acer Olympic Series 1.33Ghz ULV have a this hard drive and i can hear continuous sound emit by the drive, even when idle, i-e, without anything running. Sound like strange bearing sound ??? Not a read or write sound and not the same sound as when i bought it a month ago.
I run the windows disk utilty and nothing wrong.
I plan to back-up the entire disk very soon.
I'll like to run a better disk utility (freeware) , any ideas ?
