Walmart Deactivate My Account Saying I Violated Terms Of Use Regarding Returns
I received an email yesterday stating Your account has been deactivated. Hello Rick, We reviewed your account history carefully, and we found it violated our Terms of Use regarding returns. For that reason, we've had to deactivate your account This means we will no longer be able to process replacements, refunds or adjustments of your past orders. If you place future orders, they will be subject to cancellation. Even if you won't be ordering from us online, you can still make purchases from any Walmart store.

I have items I need to return and I have some promo codes worth $10. Now that I can't access my account I can't print receipts to return items and I cannot use the promo codes. What if anything can I do?

Walmart's entire Terms of Use is supposedly set forth at https://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8/~/walmart.com-terms-of-use, and I can't find any part of it relating to the action taken against you. My first step would be to question that action using the corporate contact information at http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/walmart/Corporate%20Office. If you don't get a prompt satisfactory resolution, appeal to your state's consumer protection agency, for which see https://www.usa.gov/state-consumer.

I would suggest going to the nearest store and explaining the problem to them or calling customer service. Their number one goal is to satisfy the customer, so between the two, you should be able to return your items, get what you wanted/expected in return, cash out the promo codes and get them printed off or at least sent to you by mail if calling customer service. In stores can override in these scenarios, don't stop till you see that the problem is corrected!
