Calibration Is Off

The calibration on my screen is off by a full inch. I try to enter the recalibration menu via the settings button but you have to press a checkbox on the touch pad to enter recalibration mode. Unfortunately, because the calibration is off by so much it is impossible to press the checkbox. Is there any way to force a factory reset and/or force entry to the calibration screen other than by using the settings menu?
