The Music Is 'stuck/stutters' And Won't Stop.
The music (that sounds when first turned on or when left alone for a bit) is stuck on a 1-2 second repeat.ressing either top button does nothing. Pressing shape buttons sometimes, less than half, gets the shape named then goes right back to stuttering. Obnoxious, turned it off but now it is not interesting for my child and the no longer use it like they once did. Suggestions?

The answer given was helpful (ashamed I didn't try that before asking, cycling power should always be the first action), but after leaving batteries out half hour, no results still doing it. ???? Happy to find a pull string hiding in the battery compartment!
