hello: There should be a 2 wire brass looking switch high up on the brake pedal mounts. the best way to loosen this to get on your back under the pedals. As you look up, you can see the stub of the sensor. there is a nut, 16mm holding it to the bracket. The smallest 16mm wrench you can find, would be the simplest to get to this nut. IT IS NOT an easy replacement. Especially if this is your first one. But the job is very do-able. Just requires patience. OR The brake light switch can be removed and re- installed without breaking it. You just have to depress the release tabs on the top and bottom of the switch. I was able to press one side at a time with a small pick tool and work it out. See the arrow in the pic...
