Buying A New Cell Phone From My Account Balance

I think my current Virgin Mobile phone is broken. I would like to buy a new Samsung cell phone for $49 with big numbers, but want to have it taken from my Virgin Mobile account, not as a new charge on my VISA, but there is no way to do this on your email page..When I try to phone I am told to "Use a different phone" Can you help me? My phone number is . My cell but I can only hear every other word on my cell phone.. Thanks. Mary Jane Ford
