Registering A Handset To A Different Base Than It Was Originally Registered To.
I just purchased two new DCX350 handsets to expand my Uniden d3500 series phone system. They came with batteries installed and apparently registered to a Base I do not have. When following the directions for registering the handsets to the base, they act as if they are trying to find the base to which they were originally registered and it is unavailable, out of range.How do I reset the handsets so that they can find my base unit and register on that? When I hold down the END Key on the handsets I already own the following is displayed:H F4135 0034 5B F4211 0420 5When I hold down the END Key on the new handsets, the following is displayed: H F4135 0019 5B FFFFF FFFF 5

For D3588 Base Station and the DCX350 Handset: (1) On the handset press and hold END and # at the same time. until you see the System Reset menu. (2) If you still have the base the handset is registered to, select Deregister HS, then select the handset you want to reset. If you don't have that base anymore, select Base Unavailable. (3) To confirm, select YES. The handset displays "Handset not registered." (4) Follow the regular instructions for Registering Handsets.
