Why Won't Turbo Tax Let Me File Another Federal Efile

TurboTax Federal Free Edition, intended for simple 1040-EZ returns, lets you prepare your federal return for free.

You'll be charged extra if you upgraded to Basic (or a higher version), prepared a state return, or selected an add-on service such as Refund Processing or Audit Defense. More info

To find out what you're being charged for in TurboTax Online, click Tools on the left side of your screen and then click My Fees (the "shopping cart" icon).
