how do i correct a mistake on one of my itemizwd deductions without having to redo a startover

Open your return and navigate to the section where you need to make the correction, and you will see an "edit" option. Click on that and make the change. If you already filed, you will have to file an amended return (if the change affects your refund/what you owe).
