Invalid Signature 2010 Premier

My 2010 returns need changes, but when I try to open the software, I get the error message: ...TurboTax.exe.Config" has an invalid signature. Please reinstall this application. When I insert the CD into the laptop's CD/DVD drive, the software won't open. The gold entry page says :please give us a moment as we get things ready, but it never moves on. I'm certainly nervouse that when the software DOES open, I'll loose the previously entered data.
