Alarm

does it have a fuse that goes bad when the car cannot unlock with the key alarm

There doesn't appear to be a fuse for the key alarm (or if there is, it's not labeled well). You can see the fuse diagram at the link below:

If you've replaced the battery in the remote opener and it still doesn't function, there may be a problem with the remote itself or with the alarm system.
