Code 305 means there is a problem with the number 5 cylinder. The number 5 cylinder is the back cylinder on the driver's side, near the firewall. 

Check the spark plug wire for cracking or other damage. If it looks okay, remove the spark plug and check for fouling. If it's dirty, clean it and re-gap it. Then see if it runs better. 

If it isn't one of those two problems, you may have a bad ignition coil or the fuel injector is worn or gummed up. You could try adding fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank. It may or may not help the gummed up fuel injector.

The coil pack for that cylinder can be replaced, but I think you have to remove the intake manifold, which can be a pain to do. Definitely not for a person who isn't mechanically inclined.
