Back-seat Door Handle

The back-seat passenger side door handle (inside), where my daughter usually sits, has broken twice.  My dealer replaced the plastic part the first time, but said he wouldn't guarantee the repair since it was a plastic part and his service technician told him it could break at any time again.  Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a bretter replacement part for this repair?
