How Do We Manually Reset Theft Deterrent System?

Took a family trip, van ran great, as she always does. We came home and the stock alarm was set off twice in the same night. The first time, I didn't make it out in time to disengage and I crawled back ro ned. The second time I unlocked and locked by hand. We get in it to leave the following morning and it won't turn over. Have a friend jump it, still nothing? Go online and we see it may be the theft deterrent system. Please help us manually reset it.

Is the 'security' light on when the key is turned to the on position? If not, then your problem is not the Anti-Theft being armed. The Anti-Theft system may be defect requiring service instead.
