Keyboard For Toshiba Satellite C655d-s5518

The laptop is about five weeks old. OS is Windows 7, the Browser being used is Chrome. For some reason the keyboard no longer is functioning. It was in perfect working order a couple of hours ago, but upon trying to log back in, it was not responsive to any keystrokes at all. I was able to put in my password using the onscreen keyboard and mouse and everything else seems fine with it, save for the keys not working. What would be the best way to remedy this?
