4gb Ram Upgrade For The Toshiba Nb505?
Bought a 4GB RAM chip for my Toshiba NB505 netbook after upgrading from starter to Home Premium. Why doesn't it turn on al the way? It dies before it even reaches the BIOS screen (I run both 7 HP and Linux Mint 12)
It is x32, came with 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM if that helps

According to the product specifications provided by Cnet.com, Toshiba Nb505 does not support a 4 Gigabyte RAM upgrade because the maximum RAM that you can upgrade for this laptop is 2 Gigabytes only. Unfortunately, you can only upgrade your RAM for up to 2 Gigabytes. Read the specifications here:
