72mx196

Starts up fine, after a few minutes the screen goes dark and the amber power lamp begins to flash while the blue power lamp remains on. The audio remains on.

I am having the same problem.  A Technician came out to my home and confirmed it was a ballast issue.  Here is a link that explains how to change the ballast for a similiar Toshiba DLP Rear Projection TV http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1071492
