Toshiba Model 65hm167 65' Rear Projection
1000 white pixels are showing up on the screen with more growing every day.
I know numerous other people have this same problem and Toshiba knows the product was poor and left everyone out empty. Mine is 3.5 years old.
what is the fix

Generally dead or frozen pixels will show up green or white. If it is dead pixels it is a panel issue. Unfortunately the panel is the most expensive part of the television to repair. It is unfortunate that there were many other instances of this as usually it is a lemon television type of deal.

You will need to replace the dlp chip which will cost anywhere from $300 to $600 depending on which company you go to?
You can actually buy the chip and try replacing your self (Check out shopjimmy.com), but you better know what your doing. The chip will cost anywhere from $177 to $300.
I hope they file a class action against Toshiba for this issue.
