No Picture
tuned on bright flash then no pic still have sound

If the picture goes too bright then the shutdown circuits will analyze it as a failure and turn it off. If the set has some failures and the picture is too bright as it shuts down it can damage the phosphor on the three CRT (picture tubes) and then when the problem is fixed then the burn marks will be there until the CRT's are replaced too. So don't keep turning it on, and take it to a technician for an estimate.
