My Tv Cannot Display The Hdmi Video From A Windows 10 Laptop; Audio Is Fine; See

they demoed at the store that the my newly purchased laptop drives the HDMI TVs they had in store; laptop has Windows 10 installed; yet my 2009 Toshiba Regza model 47ZV650U does not display the HDMI video; the HDMI audio is ok though; any idea for available HDMI firmware update to make it work with HDMI Windows 10?

I refer you to page 19 of the user guide obtainable here if you do not have one available. There are specific ways of connecting the PC to the TV via HDMI etc.
