Small Belt On 1800 Power Curve Snowthrower Model 38025 Keeps Shredding

The small belt on the small pulley on my Toro 1800 Power curve snowthrower model 38025 shreds after a few passes of less than 50 feet on a small deck with only a couple inches of snow. What could cause a brand new belt to shred with practically no use and no heavy load?

Hello, there are many things that could be causing the belt to shred. One possibility is something not aligned correctly, causing the belt to not sit the way the it's supposed to. You can find several possible solutions in this forum thread.
