Troubleshooting New Toro 20333 Will Not Start

Hi, if it's a brand new mower, make sure you put the oil and gas in. Your best bet may be to take it back to wherever you bought it from, since it should still be under warranty (hopefully!). Otherwise, here are some tips to help you figure out what the problem is.

One highly likely cause of the mower not starting is a bad spark plug (though this isn't very likely with a new mower). Spark plugs usually only cost a few bucks, so it's not a big investment to try a new one and see if that gets your mower to start.

If that doesn't help, you may want to try changing the oil and replacing the air filter. If it still won't start, the carburetor may have a blockage, or you could have a more serious problem. Post a new question with what you've tried and whether you've gotten the mower to start at all, and we can help you from there.
