Have A Toro 20333 22 Inch Recycler

engine starts fine,but when i engage the blade it shuts off

Hi, if the engine starts and dies, it may be a problem in the carb or fuel line. If you can, try to pump the primer right after it starts up -- sometimes this can clean out clogs in the fuel line.

If you have any Seafoam or other engine treatment, you can try that for an easy fix. Otherwise may have to take the carb off and clean it and the fuel line.
