Tomtom Xl Does Not Turn On After Attempting To Update Current Map
TomTom XL does not turn on after attempting to update current map. It asks to free memory space. Gives you choices of items to delete, but not enough to make up the room needed. I could not release what was needed (886 mB). Therefore, I could not update the map. After exiting their Install process, I ejected my unit using the Eject icon on their last screen, and exited the program. The XL unit was turned off by their program, but when I disconnected it from the computer I could not turn it on. It is dead. TomTom makes it very difficult to contact their Technical Support effectively, but my question is unique and there are no pre-written answers for it. As a result, I am stuck with a worthless unit.
