Paying For Broken Tablet

my tablet was broken and sent back to manufacture. Do I have to pay the monthly fee even though I don't have the tablet currently.

Yes you will. Your data provider (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc...) most likely doesn't even know you sent it back to the manufacturer. It's possible however that they may give you some type of a credit off your bill if you give them a call.
