Why Did The Airbag Light Stay On?

Check the electrical connecter under the passenger seat and make sure it is plugged in. If it is then the classification sensor is out and needs replaced. The sensor is inside the seat itself and you can locate it by following the wires.  Its a common problem on those vehicles.
