Which Subaru Model Can Support The Weight Of A Handicapped Scooter On The Rear?

My husband is disabled and uses a "mobility scooter" to get around. His vehicle needs to be able to have a tow hitch installed and to carry at least 400lbs (including lift and scooter) on the back. He currently drives an Izuzu Rodeo 2001, but it is now too high for him to get into the cab easily. We have been looking at both the Forester and the Outback 2011 and above.
