Sim Card Rejected, Phone Defective?
Purchased a Samsung SGH-T401G 16 months ago. Within the first 10 months the phone displayed message, "Sim Card Rejected". Spoke with ST customer service and they sent a new sim card out. Phone reactivated with new sim card, but now, only after 6 months, the sim card has been rejected again. Again I was sent another new sim card, but this time the phone still displayed "Sim Card rejected". The first ST customer rep stated that it was an issue with their system, but transferred me to another rep who then stated it was my problem, and that my phone is defective! Can this be possible? And if so, shouldn't ST replace my phone for free (even though it is past the 1 year warranty), since the phone first had this issue when it was only 10 months old?
