i have straight talk and i am able to receive collect calls on my cellphone. i go thru a company called just talk communications. their website is here http://www.justtalk.biz/ it is a prepaid account. so you wont have to worry about high bills. they basically charge you in 2 different ways. a flat rate per call or they charge you a connection fee and per minute. it all depends on where your loved one is located. the flat rate fee is 3.25 to connect and it is unlimited minutes until you or the inmate hangs up the phone. the other one is about 2 dollars and some cents to connect and about 12 cents per minute. It's still reasonable because most inmates can only talk for about 30 minutes. The company also charges a 2 dollar monthly service fee for using their service, they charge you 5 cents for every missed call and 5 dollars fr everytime you add money to your account. I recommend putting in about 1-2 hundred dollars every few months. I do that for myself. I made 200 dollars last me about 2-3 months. I just made sure that my loved ones called me only 2 times a week. But if they call you almost every day then you would pay about 120-160 a month. i've been with this company for almost a year now and I am very satisfied with them because I am able to communicate with my loved one as long as I have money in my account. If you have any questions or need help feel free to email me at anytime. because i know how hard it is to find a way to get collect calls to your cellphone.
