I Received A Text From Straight Talk About Upgrading My Browser And I Wasnt Succ

I Clicked On The Link And Nothing Happened I Tried Pulling It Up On The Computer And They Asked For User Name And Pin And Activation Code But I Was Still Un Successful I Want To Up Grade My Browser Can You Help

There is no official mention of any kind of browser upgrade in their support documents and i dont know what make and model phone you have to look thru the manufacturers support documents. to obtain your activation code, username and password as well as information about this browser upgrade call straight talks customer service.

Be sure that the link to this browser upgrade is legit before you enter your activation, username and password because that login info could be used to steal your phone account. Im not saying its a phishing scam, Im saying it has all the characteristics of one. The promise of a browser upgrade that wont go thru and a request for all the information needed to put your existing account on another phone by that i mean the activation code. That serves no other purpose than to activate another phone onto your account. And if there is a credit card linked to your account.. jackpot. The username and password is needed to use the activation code. Definately call straight talk and ask about the upgrade to find out for sure.

I got the link off of howardforums and checked it out. The link takes you to tfmt.tracfone.com and it is owned by tracphone.com so its legit but its not an upgrade of any kind much less a browser upgrade.

the page has these links which i didnt ckick any of them to verify.
