If the switch on your tool is cycling on and off and won't stay on, it could indicate a problem with the switch itself or an electrical issue. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check for loose connections: Ensure that all the connections between the battery and the tool are secure. Make sure the battery is properly inserted and locked into place. Additionally, inspect the wiring near the switch to see if any connections are loose or damaged.
  2. Clean the switch: Over time, dust, dirt, or debris can accumulate in the switch, causing it to malfunction. Use compressed air or a small brush to clean around the switch area and remove any debris that may be affecting its operation.
  3. Inspect the switch for damage: Examine the switch for any visible signs of damage, such as broken or loose parts. If you notice any physical damage, the switch may need to be replaced.
  4. Reset or replace the battery: Even though you mentioned that the battery works fine with other tools, it's worth trying a different battery or resetting the current one. Remove the battery from the tool, wait a few minutes, and then reinsert it to see if that resolves the issue.
  5. Seek professional repair: If none of the above steps resolve the problem, it's possible that there is a more complex electrical issue within the tool. In such cases, it's recommended to consult the manufacturer's customer support or take the tool to a professional repair technician for further assistance.

Remember to prioritize your safety when working with power tools. Always disconnect the tool from the power source and remove the battery before attempting any troubleshooting or repairs.
