1. Power cycle: Start by turning off both the main unit and the rear speakers. Disconnect their power cords from the electrical outlet, wait for a couple of minutes, then reconnect the power cords and turn them back on. This simple power cycle can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
2. Check wireless signal: Make sure there are no obstructions or other devices that may interfere with the wireless connection between the main unit and the rear speakers. Check that the speakers are within range of the main unit and that they are properly synchronized.
3. Reset wireless connection: To reset the wireless connection, locate the wireless link button or pairing button on both the main unit and the rear speakers. Press and hold the button on the main unit for a few seconds until the indicator light starts flashing rapidly. Then, press and hold the button on the rear speakers until their indicator lights start flashing rapidly as well. Allow some time for the devices to establish a new wireless connection and see if that resolves the issue.
4. Update firmware: Visit the Sony support website and check for any available firmware updates for your home theater system. Instructions on how to update the firmware should be provided on the website. Updating firmware can sometimes address issues and improve performance.
If after trying these steps the standby light continues to flash and the rear speakers still do not produce sound, it may be necessary to contact Sony customer support or bring the unit to an authorized service center for further assistance.
They will have the expertise to diagnose and resolve the specific issue with your home theater system.
I hope this information helps, and I hope you can get your Sony TA-SA300WR working properly soon!

If it beats to the music it's usually is a warning that you are "clipping" which means you're overdriving the amplifier This can damage the speakers and overheat the amplifier.
Avoid red lights by having each stage of amplification not exceed 95%.
[A]: On/standby indicator (HT-ST9)
green
- Lit: Power is on. LINK active
- Flashes slowly: Power is on. LINK connection in standby. (including when the signal has cut out)
NOTE: - If sound from the subwoofer is not being output correctly, refer to: TV sound is not heard from the home theater.
- If a LINK cannot be made, the LED will light in red.
- Flashes quickly: The speaker may be broken. (ST9/NT3/RT5 only) Consult your nearest Sony dealer.

- Flashes slowly: SECURE LINK connection in standby. (including when the signal has cut out)
NOTE: - If sound from the subwoofer is not being output correctly, refer to: TV sound is not heard from the home theater.
- If a LINK cannot be made, the LED will light in red.
- Periodically flashes quickly: SECURE LINK being processed. Please wait for the connection to be established.
red
- Lit: Power is off. (In standby)
- Flashes: Temperature warning. Turn off the subwoofer and make sure that nothing is blocking the vent. Unplug the power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet, and after the temperature has cooled, re-insert the power cord (mains lead) and turn on the power.
Try the following when encountering an issue with wireless access point connection:
- Move the subwoofer closer to the main unit of the home theater.
- If possible, place the subwoofer where it is not directly blocked by any furniture, walls, or metal barriers.
- Move your wireless access point (wireless router) more than 1 m away from the main unit, subwoofer, or sound speaker.
- If the wireless access point (wireless router) that you use can switch between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, try changing the frequency of the wireless access point to avoid interference.
- For HT-ST9/ST5/NT3/RT5: Try changing the wireless router to the 2.4 GHz band
- For HT-CT780/CT380/NT5/CT790/CT390/XF9000/X9000F: Try changing the wireless router to the 5 GHz band
- When using a wireless access point (wireless router) that can fix the channel, change the channel setting of the router to a frequency band shown above and check if the issue will improve. If it has improved, fix that channel.NOTES:
- To change the wireless channel, refer to the operating instructions of the router.
- If the setting procedure of the router is unclear, it is recommended to turn off the power of the router. The router may automatically select another channel when it turns back on.
