IMPORTANT: For spring clip terminals, press down on the red (positive) or black (negative) clips and insert the speaker wire into the slot. Then, release the clips. For binding post terminals, loosen the red (positive) or black (negative) binding posts by turning them counter-clockwise

  • Speaker wire is used to make the electrical connection between loudspeaker and audio amplifiers Modern speaker wire consists of two or more electrical conductor individually insulated by plastic or, less commonly, rubber The two wires are electrically identical, but are marked to identify the correct audio signal polarity. Most commonly, speaker wire comes in the form of zip cord. The effect of speaker wire upon the signal it carries has been a much-debated topic in the audio phile fidelity worlds.

An AUX cable is all you need to connect any speaker with your device. It has a 3.5 mm on both sides, i.e. the one you have on your earphones. Which means it can be used to connect your speakers to about every device you have.
