Programming A Remote

Turn on your Sony TV.

Press and hold the "TV" button on your remote until the LED light above the button stays on.

While holding the "TV" button, enter the 3-digit code for your Sony TV using the number buttons on the remote. You can find a list of codes in the manual that came with your remote or online.

Release the "TV" button and check if the TV responds to the remote's commands. If not, repeat steps 2 and 3 with a different code from the list.

Once you have successfully programmed your remote to your TV, you can test it by using the various functions, such as changing the channel or adjusting the volume.

1. Turn on your Sony TV.
2. Press and hold the "Setup" button on your RM-YD025 remote until the LED light on the remote turns on.
3. Enter the 3-digit code for your Sony TV using the number keys on the remote. You can find a list of codes for Sony TVs in the user manual of your RM-YD025 remote. If you don't have the manual, you can search for it online by entering "RM-YD025 manual" in your preferred search engine.
4. Release the "Setup" button after entering the code. The LED light on the remote should turn off.
5. Test the remote by pressing the "Power" button. If your TV turns off, the remote is programmed correctly. If not, repeat the steps above using a different code until you find the one that works with your TV.

If you're unable to find the correct code for your TV or the above steps don't work, try the following:

1. Turn on your Sony TV.
2. Press and hold the "Setup" button on your RM-YD025 remote until the LED light on the remote turns on.
3. Press the "TV" button on the remote.
4. Press and release the "Power" button on the remote repeatedly until your TV turns off. Each time you press the "Power" button, the remote will send a new code to the TV. Keep pressing until you find the code that works.
5. Once your TV turns off, press the "Setup" button on the remote to save the code. The LED light on the remote should turn off.
6. Test the remote by pressing the "Power" button. If your TV turns on and off, the remote is programmed correctly. If not, repeat the steps above until you find the correct code.
