The Remote (rmt-v505) Doesn't Seem To Work
This remote (RMT-V505) is listed as the correct one for our player (RDR-V500). It won't turn the machine on. Does it need to be synced

Press the [HOME] button, select [Settings]
Select [Voice Remote Control] and press the [Activate button]
Prepare Voice Remote Control.
Press and hold down VOL- button.
Press and hold the [Activate button] for 3 seconds while holding down VOL- button.
