Reset My Remote

While I was programming my remote/recorder I accidentaly pushed it to DVD1 when it was to be on DVD3 and now I can't use it with my recorder. How do I reset it so I can use it with my recorder? Sony RDR-GX255 I have read the manual, but it doesn't say how to reset it that I can see. Please Help

If the unit is listening for DVD 1, then you need to set the remote to broadcast on DVD 1. To do this, Hold the Enter button, and press the number 1. Likewise if the unit is set for DVD 2 or 3, you need to press 2 or 3 respectively.
