I Need A Replacement Bp-hp2000 Battery For A Sony Mdr-rf6000.
I need a replacement BP-HP2000 battery for a Sony MDR-RF6000. It doesn't appear to be available anymore. Is there an equivalent modern replacement? These headphones pair with DP-RF6000 base.

Believe it or not the answer is very simple. I went through the the iterations that everyone else went through to no avail. I'm not technical nor a nerd so I had to learn a bunch. What is NI-MH? What is mAh? 2.4V I already knew. I'm not that uninformed. Once I learned all that I looked for a rechargeable AA battery that fit the NI-MH, 1.2 V each battery. The mAh was somewhat irrelevant. The simple solution was the Energizer AA rechargeable 1.2V, 2300 mAh which is sold everywhere. I bought mine in Walmart. The only downside is it comes in a package of 8 for about $10. So I'll use the other 8 elsewhere. They fit perfectly and seem to work perfectly as well. Hope this helps.

The original part number for your battery was 1-756-599-21
The replacement battery is currently in stock and can be purchased directly from the parts and Accessories sales website, or call and provide them with the new part number or 1-756-599-21.

This new part number is still the same BP-H2000 Nickel-Metal Hydride Battery you are currently using, just with a different part number, don't let the description Nickel-hydrogen throw you off.
