Sony Lbt-zx99i Melted During Power Surge
had my sony lbt-zx99i stereo playing during a thunger storm. power goes out, and when it comes back on i smell burning plastic... run through my house checking and find my stereo is hot... like hot hot. and so i unplug it, and take it outside to be safe ( it was so hot it was burning my hands) my brother comes over the next day to look at it and he says the inside is melted, and that a powersurge is what caused it to melt... he said its the main part of the stereo and without it the stereo is no good... im trying to figure out what part it is called so i can order it... no warrenty...
