My System Is Having Trouble Reading Any Disc In Slot #1?

System will not recognize disc in slot #1, then skip thru and return to disc #1 again and sometimes reading it on second try, sometimes not. Usually on ejecting disc and reinserting it usually gets it to work. And another couple of times, after reading that the disc was there, it would not play it. Had to be restarted twice more for system to play first song.
