Question About My Sony High Definition Projection Tv Model Kdp-51ws550

My TV was working one night and I don't know what happened to it but one night I tried to plug in a game system and I pressed a button and now it keeps flashing Timer/standby I don't know how to turn this off cause the TV picture won't come on the sound will but it has no way of seeing the menu when the picture doesn't come in to even select it.Please tell me what can I do?
