Sony Dav-dz170 5.1 Surround Sound Wont Read Dvd-r

Is it not reading any DVD-R, or just one disc? Your disc may be warped, need cleaning--even the device itself may need cleaning. I would recommend uninstalling the unit and then reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue.

If these tips don't work, then most likely, you will need to seek service repairs.
