Sling Player App Won't Recognize New Roku Streaming Stick

I have an M1 Sling Box, and have been a big fan of Sling Box for the past 4 years. I have always used the Android SlingPlayer app to cast my Sling Box video from my local cable to the Sling Player channel on my Roku 3 devices. I recently purchased a Roku Streaming Stick. The SlingPlayer app does not recognize the new stick, despite the fact that the Sling Box support web page states that Sling Player supports Roku Streaming Sticks. I tried all of the troubleshooting tips recommended on the Sling Box support page. - I rebooted my home router.- I uninstalled and reinstalled the Sling Player app on my Android cell phone.- I reset the WiFi connection on my cell phone.- I reconnected my Sling Player app to my Sling Box. - I powered off and restarted my cell phone.- I powered off and restarted my Roku.- I reset my Roku to factory settings.- I reset the network connection on my Roku.- I deleted and reinstalled the Sling Player channel on my Roku.- I powered off my Sling Box and reset it.I then submitted a trouble ticket to Roku. Roku responded within 24 hours that the Sling Player channel on Roku does not support the newest Roku Streaming Stick models. Roku stated that the problem is with the Sling Player app. I tried to submit a trouble ticket to the email address listed for the Sling Player app in the Google Play Store. It came back as an invalid email address. There is no way to submit a trouble ticket on the Sling Box web site. There is no customer service email address on the Sling Box web site. The Sling Box customer support forum has been deleted and is no longer online.Sling Box still has an option to pay $25 for 30 days of telephonic technical support. I'm not going to pay for technical support, when the issue is with the Sling Player app. The app needs to be updated.I fear that Sling Media is on the verge of stopping all support for Sling Player and Sling Box since they were bought out and have stopped building Sling Boxes. It's likely only a matter of time before they turn off the Sling Box network servers that make Sling Box work end-to-end.Too bad, as Sling Box is a great product. I love being able to watch my cable remotely on my phone, my tablet, my computer, and smart TVs.
