Cannot Locate Dial Pad And Contacts On New Version Of Skype. Desktop Windows 7

i have just recently downloaded the new version of skype and I am not seeing the dial pad or contacts or anything. I am operating a desktop windows 7 OS and there are no contacts, or dial pad options etc
