I Forgett My Skype Password What I Do

If you still use the email address you registered when you first created your Skype account, you can reset your password:

1. Go to the Forgotten your password page.
2. Enter your primary email address and click Submit. This is the email address you used when you created your Skype account. We will send you an email with a password token to reset your password.
3. Check your email inbox for an email from Skype entitled Password token. If you can’t find it, remember to check your junk or spam folders. The email can take up to 30 minutes to reach you and it must be used within six hours.
4. Open the email and click the temporary code link.
   If the temporary code link does not work, click the second link entitled enter the code manually. This takes you to a web page where you can enter the temporary code contained in the email. Copy and paste this code into the box (make sure you don’t include any spaces at the end) and click Submit.
5. If you have more than one Skype Name, choose the relevant one from the drop-down box. Enter a new password. Your new password must be between 6 and 20 characters long, and must include at least one number and one letter. Enter the password a second time.
6. Click Change password and sign me in.
