Kenwood Dpx302 And Sirius Sir-ken1

I purchased a used vehicle with a Kenwood DPX302 radio and Sirius SIR-KEN1.  When pressing the SRC button the Kenwood does not give a SAT option.  Kenwood support says that I need a Sirius KCA-SR50 and SC-C1.  I think that the current radios worked at one time.  SID 010 262 878167 Sir-Ken 16080000006. I contacted Sirius support and they indicated I needed and account and to activate the radio to make it work. I do not want to activate if these radios are not compatible.  They setup an account but I cannot access it with the information they provided.
