Needle Off Center

my needle arm seams to want to be off center when I turn the machine on. I am free quilting and I don't believe it was doing this in the first three panels. If I move the needle over by the selector to 6.5 it is then center to the dog plate. I've retreaded my singer one, cleaned out all lint and I'm getting a C6 error

This problem often caused by the bobbin and needle threads looping trying to form a stitch that you interrupted.

Here are some tips yiou can apply.

1. Check carefully the metal hook that goes up and down above the machine before you lift the presser foot.

2. Pull the take-up level manually with your hand and turn the handwheel towards you and complete the stitch. the error will be sorted out.
