I Would Like To Purchase An Antenna For Sharp Cd-c2900 Stereo Compact System.
At this point I can only reach 1 FM station and n the reception is still a little static. Will an sntenna make a big difference? plz give me information as to where I can go to purchase an antenna for this system. Please email me immediately at Thank u

An external aerial will give you more stations. You can buy FM aerials from most hardware stores or E-bay for example. You need to verify what the connection you have on the rear of your unit. Is it a co-ax plug or two terminals? If it is a co-ax then an outside aerial fed to the receiver will increse reception. You need to find out where the transmitters are. If you purchase a rotary aerial then that is not so important. Simple aerials for indoor use are a two core flat wire which is split about halfway down which you pin up and place the single wires horizontal. This then goes to screw terminals. An adapter will be needed to fit to a co-ax connector.
